Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional

Instructions
 

  • Begin by washing and trimming the green beans.
  • In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  • Remove the bacon and set it aside on a paper towel to drain.
  • In the same skillet, add the olive oil and heat it.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the green beans to the skillet and stir well.
  • Season the beans with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the green beans for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Return the crispy bacon to the skillet and mix thoroughly.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the beans if desired and serve hot.
